Wolfgang Schwärzler is a graphic and typedesigner from Leipzig. Togetherwith Katharina Köhler and Maurice Göldner he runs the type collectiveCAMELOT. He designs books, typefaces, and visual identities – mainly in acultural context.
He has worked with: GfZK – Museum for Contemporary Art Leipzig, MdbK Museum der Bildenden Künste Leipzig, f/stop Leipzig, Spector Books, Archive Books, Camera Austria, adocs, Kyiv Biennial, EEBA East European Biennial Alliance, moCa – Museum of Contemporary Arts Cleaveland, Bauhaus Stiftung Dessau, City of Helsinki, Bauwende Sachsen, and others.
His works have been awarded by tdc – Type Directors Club New York, Preisder Stiftung für Buchkunst, Gold Medal in the Most Beautiful Books of the World, 100 Beste Plakate D/A/CH, Die schönsten deutschen Bücher, and others.
